An Advanced Ethics Training for Vermont and New Hampshire
Counselors
Ethical issues are not black and white rules for individuals to
follow. Having a decision-making model that includes seeking out
and verifying legal expectations, consultation, analysis,
decision-making and documentation is a key step in the development
of a clinician.
Specifically developed for the experienced counselor, this
workshop provides practical skills for clinicians to navigate
complex ethical issues they may face in their workplace.
Highlights
- Describe the purpose of professional boundaries
- Describe examples of boundary violations
- Identify areas of potential conflicts
- Explore Decision-Making Models, including the PLUS Model
- Demonstrate use of the models of decision-making and the
application of ethical standards to specific case studies
